Opelousas is one of the central most cities in Louisiana. Not only that, but four years ago one of the leading abortion doctors for the state of Louisiana opened her clinic in this small town made up of citizens that mostly live below the poverty line.

The target of the abortion industry was made clear, and as a result, we can be confidently loud in the face of such evil.

We gather to pray, sing, be challenged, and celebrate together the advance of the kingdom of Christ.

Our Story

The Louisiana Life Parade was originally founded four years ago as the “Opelousas Life Parade” in joyous response to the downfall of Roe v. Wade. While the abortion fight is far from over, we take this opportunity to no longer have an annual protest, but an annual victory parade, celebrating the goodness of God and the defeat of evil.

Today, the event is now known as the “Louisiana Life Parade” in order to welcome participants from all over the great state of Louisiana to celebrate with us.
